








Slow Cooked Satay Chicken (GF/DF)

It’s everyone’s favourite…satay, made slow. Full of smooth, peanutty flavour and a hint of heat from homegrown bird’s eye chillies. Free-range thigh fillets are marinated overnight, then seared in a housemade satay paste of herbs, spices, peanuts, kecap manis, dark soy, peanut butter. Simmered in coconut milk and finished off with kaffir lime leaves. Please note, this comes as frozen, with simple reheating required.
Reheating: Defrost and transfer to a covered saucepan, then slowly simmer until piping hot. Or, simply reheat in microwave. Serve with your favourite rice.
Ingredients: Chicken, peanuts/peanut butter, onion, chillies, garlic, lemongrass, kaffir lime leaves, dried herbs/spices (coriander, cumin, turmeric, paprika, chilli, curry powder, salt, sugar), vegetable oil, stock, kecap manis, soy sauce, coconut milk, lime juice.
